Scott has grown up around the sport of hockey. As the son of former professional hockey player and college coach Bruce Crowder, he has had the unique opportunity to learn and understand the game as both a past time and a business. It was with this understanding that Scott completed a successful hockey career playing at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst, before earning dual Bachelor of Science Degrees in both Sport Management and Marketing.
After college, Scott decided to utilize his knowledge and entrepreneurial spirit to start an entity that would go on to hold multiple companies. Most notable of these was his founding of the Pond Hockey Classic, a grass roots sport event management company, which specializes in organizing and managing unique Pond Hockey events in the Northeast. In the summer of 2010, Scott was approached with an opportunity to join the Restore Sports family as the Executive Director of Restore Hockey. In his new role, he has already made immediate impact towards accomplishing our organizations mission and his focus will be to grow the brand of Restore Hockey while introducing the sport to those who otherwise would not be able to participate. Through the implementation and organization of Equipment Collection Events, Scott is confident Restore Hockey will become a household name while collecting the necessary equipment to further the Restore Hockey mission
